 When you start talking about commercial windows you are getting into an area where you need to be very careful. The sheer size and weight can overwhelm a person causing great pain and injury. A man that my father was working with some 40 years ago had his left arm broken when his partner unlocked a steel project out window that had the rivets holding the vent arms sheared off. Be Careful! There are several grades of commercial windows and of course several different styles. Basically all of the rules that apply to residential windows apply to commercial windows, with the added knowledge that you must be careful when working on them, for the pain you save may be your own or the guy walking on the street below you.
